Somalia 10000 Shillings unc/au

Authentic Somalia 10,000 Shillings non-issued banknote from the 2010 series, produced for Somalia by the Sudan Currency Printing Press in Khartoum.

This proposed series was never officially released into circulation, and quantities remained stored in Sudan. Following the outbreak of civil war in Sudan in 2023, examples of these unissued Somali banknotes entered the collector market.

The blue 10,000 Shillings note features a traditional dhow on the front and three fish on the reverse, along with the Somali coat of arms.

Please note: The banknote pictured is representative of the note you will receive. Serial numbers may vary from the example shown.

An unusual piece for collectors of Somali currency, African banknotes, unissued currency, and modern world currency.
